Pam, Elinor, and Gill Williams Attend The 76th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Behalf of Treat

Last year in what was his last role, Treat was posthumously nominated for an Emmy Award for his role of William Paley in the series FEUD: CAPOTE VS THE SWANS. Pam and Elinor looked stunning, and my gosh, Gill looks like his dad. Same smile.

“Blue Bloods” Pays Tribute to Treat

“Blue Bloods” Pays Tribute to Treat

In the last episode of BLUE BLOODS, the show paid tribute to Treat with an episode where Frank (Tom Selleck) pays tribute to his good friend and former partner Lenny Ross played by Treat. The toast at the end of the episode was touching and Lenny’s chair was empty at the Reagan table. This was a bittersweet goodbye as we can only wonder how many times Treat/Lenny would show up to make Frank’s life difficult. At the end of the episode they had a slide dedicated to him. I’m posting it here, and for all of Treat’s other episodes, please check out the links below. I’m including the tribute to him from the end of the episode accompanied by the song Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door

Treat Williams New Scans | 02/12/2024 – People USA

Some new scans for you. These are from last week’s edition of People USA. The article is on the FX show FEUD: CAPOTE VS THE SWANS where Treat plays the part of William S. Paley. This was Treat’s last performance before his untimely death. I’ll have the screencaps from the show up soon. Please keep an eye on this space for those. From the article, series star and executive producer Namoi Watts, and Capote actor Tom Hollander said this of Treat:

Williams’s turn as the CBS mogul was his last major role before his death in a motorcycle accident in June 2023 at age 71. “He gave it his absolute all, and I think it was a lot to do with being at this point in his life where he was just so grateful,” says Watts, who also executive-produced the series. “We’re all completely devastated that he’s not going to see his wonderful work.” Hollander remembers Williams as “full of stories and life” and passionate about his home state. “He was always talking about Vermont and how much he loved flying,” Hollander says. “l still have the Vermont pancake mix that he brought down. He absolutely loved playing Bill Paley, and it was brilliant.”
