TREAT WILLIAMS PERISHES IN CYCLE HORROR!

THE PHANTOM villain Treat Williams was tragically killed in a horrific crash just hours after the 71-year-old actor was mowing the lawn at his idyllic, million-dollar Vermont home.
Lawmen say the star of the 2002 TV drama Everwood and the famed 1979 movie version of the anti-war Broadway musical Hair slammed his motorcycle into an oncoming Honda driven by Ryan Koss, 35, who was turning into a parking lot at Long Trail Auto near Dorset.
The Golden Globe–nominated actor was thrown from his bike and “suffered critical injuries” despite wearing a helmet, say police.
The husband of actress Pam Van Sant, mom of his son Gill, 31, and daughter Ellie, 25, was rushed by helicopter to New York’s Albany Medical Center, where he died on June 12.
“Williams was unable to avoid a collision,” say police, who have not arrested driver Koss but say the crash is still under investigation. ■
